Well, that does it for Op I. Great job, everyone. We had some excitement, made a few new allies, and got some pretty decent salvage. The Kell Hounds are happy with us, and we've got a number of new contracts outstanding.
Operation II will be starting shortly. In order to prepare the mission brief, we need to know how many of you will be participating in it. Please reply to this thread and let us know if you're interested in having a role, so we can add you to the roster. We have to plan accordingly, so only post if you're serious about participating. We want you all to have a role, so your feedback is greatly appreciated!

I don't check the Cantina much. Good thing I did tho :-D
I'll be working like a mofo and moving out this week. If I don't get on again for a long time, send my chatacter off inot an open ended objective requiring a personal pilgramage to planets Evcilear and/or Terra (Earth).

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. We'll make sure you get your lance assignments accorded to you.
It looks like Op II will be beginning 29 November 2004. I hope to see you all there! ;D In the interim, feel free to roleplay around the base installations as well as upgrade / refit your 'mech as you see fit. There's a list of new salvage posted at the Main Hanger...those who are interested should grab some of the goodies off the list while they're still available.

OOC:
Hello all,
I'd like to participate in Op II, but I'm currently fighting a nasty bout of the flu...it makes it difficult to sit in front of the computer for long. Hence why my posting has dropped off a bit as of late. So, perhaps you could put Victor on base duty or something (after all the strange occurances of Op I, it might be a good idea to leave a person or two behind to guard the homefront). Thanks for your understanding.

Jeff -
Hope you feel better soon. Incidentally, thank you for the DropShip thread in mission planning...sorry I didn't reply to it, but I overlooked it and just saw it now. The tech specs are awesome, and I'd like to invite you to redesign the Thorin to meet canon technical specs from an operating standpoint (repulsorlifts, grav generators, etc). DropShip info is limited at best, and I'll be the first to admit I took a few liberties in creating it, mostly due to a lack of technical info on the "proper" construction.
I hope you can partake in Op II. We'd certainly love to have you there.

I've gotten quite a bit of my strength back (last wednesday I might as well have been a mewling kitten for all the good I could do), but don't want to push myself to hard while I'm still under the weather. However, if I'm feeling up to it fully, I'll participate in Op II. Speaking of Op II, Captain, did you contemplate the format change I suggested?
