Hi guys!
Ever get stuck on something when writing your post for the on going OP? Ever feel you could of done more to your post if only you knew what to write about? This is the place for you. Here are a series of questions I ask myself when posting. Use them how you wish J
*Your character. How would your character feel in the position he is currently in or will be in? What is his/her status? What are their emotions? What is their condition?
*Your environment. What the environment your character is in? What is it’s status? Is it a pristine landscape or a ruined wasteland? What does your character feel about the area? What does he/she notice in particular? How does the environment around him spark his emotions?
*Activity around you. What is going on around you? How does it affect your position/mission? How does this affect your team mates?
*Action! What is the enemy doing? What are you doing to the enemy? What are your character’s actions while engaging something/someone? What are your team mates doing? How are they interacting?
*Speech. What is your character saying? Are your feelings/condition affecting what you are saying? What are your team mates saying? How are you communicating to them? Why are you communicating with them?
**(Work in progress)**

One thing about jumpships and dropships:
Jumpships make their jump instantaneously and can travel up to 30 lightyears. However, it takes them about a week to recharge their jumpdrive using a solar-sail unless they have a lithium-fusion battery which allows them to make two consecutive jumps. Even after they jump reaching the system's respective planet is not easy. It usually takes several days for a dropship to disembark from a jumpship and then land on a planet. I've just noticed a lot of super quick traveling which takes a lot of time. Also, jumpships never get close to planets; that's why it takes so long to get to the planet. These traveling limitations are fundamental to the battletech universe otherwise reinforcements would be coming to every battle every 10 minutes and generals wouldn't have any logistical concerns for troop deployments.
May the peace of Blake be with you.

um, last i heard, ben INTENTIONALLY was not writing anything except the final leg of each jump out, to keep there from being 19 pages of nothing but jumping and jumping-related garbage.
i could be wrong on this.

You are correct. We skip a LOT of "transit" stuff for the sake of maintaining a fast-paced plot. It's there, we just don't see it.

Just a friendly reminder, make sure you know who is where when you post. I'm seeing some people posting in one bar while the occupants are at another.
Remember, Role Play is just as much about creativity as it is paying attention to your surroundings (Like Keith mentioned in his first post).
