That's up to you. I personally think what's been posted makes for great dossier material, and the more that's known about your character, the better!
With a general overview of the political climate that's taking place circa 3069 now laid in place, the next question is:
What have the Legionnaires been doing for a year? One suggestion that was put forth was
I like this for a couple reasons. First off, our very first Op was a joint project with the Kell Hounds. To bring things full circle and have them be involved in the end of our ProBoards run and the beginning of our new one, I think, is an excellent suggestion. We really don't have to cobble together a whole lot of Ops to fill the one-year gap - with the Inner Sphere in the shape it is in right now it is entirely plausible that the Legionnaires and Morgan Kell could, potentially, have participated in a 6-month to 1-year Operation.
Ideas?

I like the sounds of assisting the Kell Hounds once more, does anyone have more detailed information about the Kell Hounds and/or any operations they took part in circa 3069-3070?
Also does anyone have information on exactly HOW Morgan Kell fought to restore Mercenary honour?
I think if we can come up with 2 or 3 contracts it would easily cover the year gap. I can easily see 2 contracts with the Kell Hounds and possibly a contract with a particular Great House. These contracts would be around 4 months long each and consist of several missions (which we don't have to specify or create) over that period.
Once we get a general consensus on whether or not we help the Kell Hounds or not, and if we can get some additional information on what the Kell Hounds were doing circa 3069, I could go ahead and create a complete contract for review by everyone if you'd like.

Unfortunately, the Jihad sourcebook covers only the first year (Nov 3067-3068) of the war. Here's a brief overview of what happens during that time as far as mercs are concerned.
September 3067: The Northwind Highlanders back out of their contract with the Draconis Combine and return to their homeworld of Northwind after the mysterious deaths of several of their Clan Elders.
October 3067: A group of rogue mercenaries, led by the Waco Rangers (possibly backed by the Word of Blake) attack the Wolf's Dragoons on Outreach. The Hiring Hall of the MRBC is destroyed and Jaime Wolf is killed. Note: for several years the Word of Blake had been forming its own protectorate in the Chaos March which was opposed by the Dragoons and their Allied Mercenary Command.
November 3067: The fourth Star League conference is held on Tharkad. With the Clan threat diminished after the destruction of the Smoke Jaguars, the leaders of the Inner Sphere decide their alliance is no longer necessary and disband the Star League. This infuriates the Word of Blake who had just been granted permenent membership status on the Star League council.
December 3067: The Word of Blake attacks Tharkad using an ancient Lyran battleship thought lost during the Second Succession War. Nuclear weapons are unleashed on Tharkad City. At the same time, another Word of Blake battlefleet attacks New Avalon, but does not use nukes.
The Wolf's Dragoons launch an attack on Terra, but their fleet is ambushed and wiped out above Mars by the Blakists. In retaliation, the Word of Blake nukes Outreach. The surviving Dragoons (which are few) take refuge with the Kell Hounds and Wolf Clan in Exile on Arc Royal.
After these events, public perception begins to turn against mercenaries, especially in the Draconis Combine and the Free Worlds League, but in other states as well. Morgan Kell issues a call to mercenary leaders to maintain their honor and not give into the temptation of breaking a contract or backstabbing an employer. Beyond this, there are not a lot of details.
However, there is a lot of fighting going on between the Blakists and the Com Guards in the former Free Rasalhague Republic. The Blakists take Tukayyid (site of the famous battle with the Clans) but the Com Guards managed to get the Primus off world. Perhaps we could be involved in some of this fighting as the Maxwells have Com Star connections and Rasalhague is close to the Arc Royal Defense Cordon where Morgan Kell rules. We could also be helping the Wolf's Dragoons rebuilt as the survivors are now on Arc Royal.

Part of the problem we have in terms of keeping things true to cannon is that we are a year or two ahead of the official FanPro timeline at the moment, so there really isn't much for 3069 at this point. Guess we just have to wing it!

I like this idea. Is it feasable that this campaign could have stretched into late 3069?

So is the final CBT book over before the WOB are introduced to the Battletech universe?

Jihad leaves a lot of issues hanging at the end of 3068, but it would be reasonible to assume that fighting in the Free Rasalhague Republic will continue throughout 3069 and 3070. Tukkayid is in the hands of the Word of Blake. Com Star launched an invasion of Terra called Case White, assembling the largest fleet the Inner Sphere has seen since the first Star League, but it was wiped out just as the earlier Dragoon fleet was. We should be able to craft a story using the Com Guards and the WoB (and perhaps a little Clan mayhem as well) in the FRR without too many problems.
Dawn of the Jihad isn't a novel but a sourcebook. It tells the story through snippets of in character interviews and news reports. I believe they are going to follow this format for the rest of the Jihad series as well. The last CBT novel was Endgame which finished off the Fed Com Civil War. Since then, there have only been MechWarrior Dark Age novels, though I read that Fan Pro was planning to release a collection of CBT stories from Battle Corps.

I for one am extremely intrigued by the possibility of interacting with Clan Wolf in Exile (my favourite Clan of all time is Clan Wolf - the Warden part of it - which ended up becoming Wolf in Exile) it would give us extensive access to Clan technology (making some of our refits a little more true to canon) and wouldn't be too hard to create due to the unit's history with the Dragoons and thereby Clan Wolf. (The Dragoons sponsored us in our early days, as well the fictional founder of the Legionnaires was related to Jaime Wolf)
I have got to me a set of those CBT Novels and Sourcebooks, I have a few PDF versions but nothing new other than a TRO of 3067. I guess I'll have to shell out the cash for them from Battle Corps, not that there very expensive or anything, was just hoping to find things locally first.
