Hello all,
As you know, we’re coming to a conclusion in this operation and I’d like to thank everyone for participating and I hope you enjoyed it. Now we are presented with a choice: to remain on Sheratan and continue with the well established Site 187 or to move on to a new home, one coinciding with a new site. There are various pros and cons for each of course but Ben and I think that this really should be a site decision so that all have a say. I’m going to make a poll, and in a day or two I’ll tally up the votes and then write the epilogue accordingly.

I don't see any harm in relocating.

What if site 187 was rebuilt and was renamed it to the name Ben suggested in MP threads, but was also a memorium to those lost in Gellen's Heights and all of Sheratan? “Camelot - In memory of those lost in the battle for Gellen’s Heights.” Although it might seem strange to have a memoriam as a base of Operations, I have come accross two military bases in real life that are dedicated to those lost in wars or battles. One was in france, which was dedicated to the members of the Resistance during the Nazi's grip on France and the other was a RAF (Royal Air Force), however i cannot remember it's name. What ever happens to site 187, i personnaly would like to see the Legionnaires stay on Sheratan as Gellen's Heights has provided a very interesting setting for our home. Thats my two euro-cents

I would like to see us move. It would add a nice twist to the story so far. And it might possibly help me with the development of my character. But anyway I think a "move" would be cool.

How bout this ;
We rebuild Site 187, the Blakists kind of destroyed the place so we can remake it however we see fit, or keep it the same however we want. We christen the "new" Site 187 'Camelot' (I too like the name and idea behind the name). We stay on Sheratan obviously, the people of Gellen's Heights love us, they know we protected them and did our best to help them, they weren't too fond of ComStar because they did a lot of damage to their city in the process of retaking the HPG and everything (they don't know ComStar set it up). The Sheratan government on the other hand comdemn us, and although they don't throw us off the planet (can we work in Crayven Corporations influences here?) they don't take too kindly to us remaining.
Basically politically we're hated, but the actual people love us.
****
I know some of that is repeating what others said, but I just copy and pasted it directly from the MP boards, and was just too lazy to change it, lol.

I like the idea of staying at Site 187 and renaming it Camelot. The Legionnaires have already moved base once from Tau Ceti, and Sheratan is located in the Chaos March which gives us a little bit of independence from the Great Houses as well as placing us smack dab in the middle of the action for the Jihad.

How does this sound: When the Legionnaires learn that the governor of Sheratan plans to exile the mercenary unit from the planet, Benjamin petitions Charles to intervene. Charles visits the offices of the governor, and, as you stated, essentially buys his favor through some as-of-yet-undetermined method. The governor grudgingly allows the Legionnaires to stay, but warns Charles that he reserves the right to revoke their right to stay at any time, and threatens to hold both he and the Crayven Corporation personally responsible for any and all transgressions exacted by the Legionnaires.

Sounds good, I'm not much for politics, and neither is my character, so I'll leave that stuff up to you guys to work out. I'd prefer if we could do it without it seeming like we just bribe our way into whatever we want as that isnt the Legionnaires. Perhaps with a little bit of reason, and maybe some lucrative bonuses (access to information and/or technology that the Crayven Corporation has, or convincing the government of the bonuses to having a Mercenary unit stationed on their planet). I like the sounds of the response, them saying they can still revoke us, plus I think that will definately give us the closer tie with the Crayven Corporation we're looking for.
