Not drawn to scale! This is just a general guiding map - please feel free to change anything.

Hehe good one. I'll do Gellen's Heights but you have to do Tharkad.

Hehe not bad - ye olde south country looks very apealing. What'd you use to render it - 3d studio max?

No, no, nothing so primitive. I commissioned Industrial Light & Magic to produce this one.
Like the south country, eh? It's even got a figure-8 track to do burnouts on. It's the only race track so large it can be seen from orbit (as shown in the ultra hi-rez satellite image).

I didn't have time to PhotoShip this, so it looks fairly crude, but I thought I'd add to the map by sketching a quick overlay of some critical structures. I also included the original concept description of Site 187 that can be found in the Databank section. Site 187 is a converted nuclear facility on the northern continent, with its origins tracing as far back as the original settlers of the lush jungle world known as Sheratan. It is built almost entirely underground, and is equipped with a large, subterranean landing bay, with capacity to house a single Union-class DropShip. The landing bay is protected by a set of ferrosteel blast doors which retract to permit vertical takeoff of the DropShip. For obvious reasons, this design prohibits Aerodyne-class DropShips from landing at the Site itself, and thus, any non-conforming AeroTech must find berth at the nearby spaceport, situated in the capitol city of Gellen’s Heights. The facility is equipped with a high-capacity BattleMech and vehicle service and storage facility, also built beneath the surface, and connected to the landing bay via a large tunnel, which can be sealed in stages via six sets of blast doors should an emergency arise. The BattleMech facility has twelve 'Mech bays, with an additional four allocated to BattleMechs undergoing heavy repairs or extended refits, effectively bringing the total number to sixteen. There is also a parking garage located in the BattleMech facility, capable of housing up to fifteen support vehicles and ten assault craft. Each parking spot doubles as a service bay, so vehicles in need of repairs need not be moved from their berths in order to be accessed by technicians. Site 187 was originally equipped with two Excalibur-class, high-yield nuclear missiles, designed for space and atmospheric warfare in situations demanding extremely large-scale destruction over a widespread area. Over ten stories tall, these massive weapons typically found roles as capital ship killers and planetary bombardment devices. The Excaliburs were removed after the FedCom Civil War, and Silo 1 was converted into living and operations space for the installation's crew, while Silo 2 was refit to accommodate a heavy lift system, capable of shuttling 250 tons of cargo (including BattleMechs) between the surface and the lowest levels of the installation. Both silos have interconnecting passages between each level. SILO 1 1. Surface access, vehicle parking 2. Security 3. Administration (new recruit processing, payroll, etc). 4. Sickbay, mess hall, laundry 5. Crew Quarters, Locker Room 6. Armory 7. Briefing Room, Command Center 8. Battle Simulator, HPG Interfaces 9. Supply 10. Utility

Wow we have our own HPG - doesn't that kind of mess things up?

I dont think we have our own HPG, we simply have like a direct link to the HPG station. At least thats what I read the HPG interface as being.
BTW, excellent photos and maps everyone, that definately helps to make things clearer as to who and what is where.

even with the Grey Death mempry core the only people who can build HPGs are Comstar , WoB and the clans.
usually a planet will only have one HPG station, which the Wobbies so nastily took out.
I would expect that rather than have to go down to the HPG every time you want to send/receive a message, site 187 would have a remote terminal, much like a remote PC on a WAN which could send / receive messages much like we use email today.

We have an HPG interface, which is tied to all areas of the station. Think of it as cable internet. No need to 'go' anywhere. We do in fact have e-mail (see previous Ops).
As I said before, this sketch was rushed, and in my haste, I labeled it "Hyperpulse Generator," as opposed to the "HPG Interface" listed in the verbose description. It connects to the planet's HPG network. If I do another update on this map, I will correct it.

Originally I always thought of the cantina as being somewhere in Gellen's Heights, not actually inside the base.
It's frequented by non-Legionnaire personnel as well as Legionnaires and covered by the planetary police.
Being on base means that the Legionnaires have been letting all sorts of interesting characters on base who could do any number of unwanted actions.
Being on base "should" limit it to base personnel only I would have thought. ?

It was established in the "The Cantina" RPG that the bar is located on-base, but is open to the public, and is used as a way to bring in a few extra credits for the outfit's coffers (this makes sense given that the Cantina is virtually the only above-ground facility at Site 187 and is not in any way connected to the main facilities).
