What is a Naval PPC, some freakishly powerful cannon? Also, how many ballistic slots does the Cauldron-Born have, I would love to mount a heavy gauss, ;D ;D ;D, everything else into other weapons, armor, ammo, and mods, ;D

Gunman, I believe you designed the Chidori...can you advise on the ballsitics?
A Naval PPC is designed to be mounted on spacecraft.

I never thought this would be possible, but you can actually arm your Cauldron Born with a Heavy Gauss Rifle.
Here's the loadout :
1 Heavy Gauss Rilfe (LT) 2 tons ammo(RT)[8 rounds] 1 Clan LRM-10 (LA) 2 tons ammo (LA)[24 rounds - 240 missiles] 1 CSTRK-4 (RT) 1 ton ammo (RT)[25 rounds - 100 missiles] 2 ER MLasers (RA) Triple Strength Myomer Right Arm has a manipulator Hand as well
Absolutely no heat issues.
I wouldn't worry too much about keepign track of ammo, as long as you don't go overboard with it. I mean you can't just blow everything to smitherens with the Gauss rifle and just keep on trucking, lol.

If no one minds, I'd like to use that Black Hawk as a secondary mech. Assault mechs are only good at blasting the hell out of things. I'd like a well-balanced medium Mech to tool around in.
Black Hawk {Venom} [medium] 2 erPPCs, 4 Medium lasers, 2 STRKSRM 6s, Firewall AMS, Gaurdian ECM, JJs

That's fine with me Desparado, I can understand how your 100 ton beast can be a bit cumbersome at times, lol.
And yeah that Cauldron Born would have to really brace itself to fire that baby, let's just say that aimed at the ground while running backwards, turns the Heavy Gauss into about a 10m - 20m Jump Jet, lol. That's why I put it in the side toros (aside from the fact it wont fit anywhere else...) if it was in an arm, it would tear the living hell out of the thing, probably rip the arm off and spin the torso over 90 degress around (and its got a very limited torso twist to begin with..... well not any more, lol)

Just a bit of a CBTer's standpoint for you all here...in CBT, Heavy Gauss Rifles can ONLY be mounted in right or left torso locations on mechs. Furthermore, unless you come to a complete stop before firing and brace, you must make a piloting skill roll. The modifiers to the piloting skill roll are based on the class of mech, as follows:
Light: +2 Medium: +1 Heavy: +0 Assault: -1
Where the pluses are bad for your roll, and the minuses good.
So from a CBT standpoint, Chidori firing the HGR unbraced would have to make a fairly easy piloting skill roll each turn. There is always the chance of failure however (which increases with the damage your legs and gyro take), and if you fail, the mech falls, and falls down hard.

Yes I was using a CBT Fasa sanctioned 'mech designer so it only would let me put it in the Right or Left Torso anyways . Provided that the MechWarrior had a good piloting skill, it wouldn't be any trouble to move and fire the weapon, but if it was a rookie pilot (not saying you are Corporal) then they would have difficulty. Sargeant Jack, I wouldnt worry too much if all that is new to you, we do use either CBT or MW4's hardpoint style systems to outfit the 'mechs, but that is fairly easy and if you need help there are several of us willing to do so. (**Just a side note here, the CBT way is much more forgiving in many senses with weapon selection and location, although the MW4 hardpoint system, does sometimes allow for some loadouts that are impossible with CBT**) You can have the Large ER Laser no problem, or the ER PPC is still available if you would prefer that instead, up to you.

Alright, for my Uziel, I'm gonna a PPC, but it seems we only have the erPPC, and it is possible the Seargant may want it, and I would want him to have it over me having it. So, I will give a loadout otherwise. Please, correct me if I defy rules to either game (and I'm sure SOMEONE will, lol. BTW, that's a good thing). Ok, since I never played either game, I will give it my best shot at being correct. Oh, i can't seem to find any references to an Uziel, so I'm guessing it only appeared in MA? Ya, I can't find it anywhere. So, I will wait for someone to respond and give me a link to an Uziel, before I EDIT this post with my loadout. Thanks.

Follow these steps for Uziel information : Go to www.chaosmarch.comClick on 'Inner Sphere' under 'Technical Readouts' along the left side. Select 'Mechs'Go to '3067'In the list that comes up, go under 'Medium' the 2nd and 3rd 'mech with '[50]' (their weight) in front of them are the 'Uziel UZL-2S' and 'Uziel UZL-3S'That should be all the info you need to make your own design. Basically just read that, make up a design similar, and we'll let you know if its acceptable. Don't worry about the parts not being right in the Salvage list, we do have other parts, and parts can be bought.
