I sat in my mechs cramped cockpit, sweating already from the heat that was already building inside.
I cracked my neck and patted the controls of my Battlemech.
Well ol' boy, looks like we got ourselves a small Clan infestation here. I know, I know. I hate the bastards too.
I kicked my 50 Ton Hunchback to the 6 marked on my throttle. As I moved in 3 Bulldog Tanks rolled out from a small village they were harrassing and engaged me.
Unforunately, the lead tank was no match for a point blank shot from my AC/20. The top of the turret imploded inward has the heavy round crushed the hapless tank.
The second Tank faired no better as I fired both my Medium Lasers and Small Pulse laser into it's port ammo bin. The super heated AC/2 Ammunition exploded and the resulting damage to my right leg sent my armor into the Yellow.
Uhh, hehe. Oops.
By this time the fourth Bulldog Tank rolled around the corner and my AC/20 had recycled. I took a careful aim and send the heavy round into the front of the tank. The impact made the tank plant itself nose first into the dirt as its crew began to ditch.
I turned to the last tank and fired my Laser array into it, tracing the beams along the Starboard side. It fired off all 8 of it's SRMs and the resulting explosion reeled my Battlemech backwards. As I recovered, I returned fire with another blast from my Medium Lasers as it peppered me with it's dual AC/2s. I fired once more and it exploded into a spectacular display of fire, shrapnel and earth.
What? That was easy, where is my challenge Clanner pukes?
I got my answer as I watched an AC/5 pepper my Right Torso. I turned to face down an Uller, or Kit Fox as the Clans call them. The foolish pilot had revealed his presence and I decided that it was his turn to die in some sort of spectacular fashion. I unleashed an Alpha Strike and laughed manically as the heavy AC/20 round crushed the Right Arm of the Uller. The pilot was now infuriated as they charged in and battered my slower mech with various energy weapons and peppered my mech with AC/5 rounds. I slowed and stopped as the Uller came in front of me.
Wrong move jackass.
I sent another punishing Alpha Strike into the 30 Ton OmniMechs frame. The AC/20 round pushing the mech's pilot to the limit as they struggled to maintain the balance. I rammed the mech with my own and used the 20 Ton advantage I had to sent the hapless mech to the ground. As it tried to right itself, I kicked the Uller's Left Torso and keep firing my Laser Array into it. The mech, unable to right itself from my constant attacks continued to try and I decided to end the pilot's misery with and Alpha Strike to the damaged torso section. I giggled as the Uller's Gyro tore the mech apart from the inside out.
Heh, this is Hammer. Mission Complete.
