I threw my Daishi into full reverse, backing hurredly away from the heavily smoking Black Knight that charged toward me. Alex had either become suicidal, or simply wasn't thinking. Either way, his BattleMech's leg actuators instantly became a prime target for my autocannons. As the buckshot-style rounds found their marks, the 'Mech's left leg began to hobble and drag, and the Black Knight's approach was greatly slowed. I continued to back away, slowly putting distance between myself and what was left of Alex's 'Mech.
Say goodnight...
I fired my entire weapons loadout at once. Cerulean-blue bolts of electrical energy, cylindars of emerald-colored coherent light, superheated tracer rounds, and ten long-range missiles lanced out to strike the Black Knight in its already-crippled torso. The stress of the barrage was simply too much for the lesser 'Mech to handle, and it toppled over. Whether it was dead, or simply stunned, remained to be seen.

I hit the ground hard. The captain had foiled my plans. Everything went white as the fusion reactor light the sky like an atom bomb.
I soon reappeared on the battle field. I didn't miss a beat and throttled my Black Knight to get back into the action.

After I crossed the bridge, I watched as Alex's Black Knight was Wraithed by 2 PPC's I took a sharp left to avoid this, my 'mech spun out, and fell forewards.
"Uh Oh. Guys?"
I looked on my computer to see that Maxwell had 0:36 time, and 1:00 was required to win. I turned and opened fire on Maxwell's Daishi.
"Somebody destroy Maxwell! ... He's gaining time..."
Just then, Maxwell's Daishi went down in a billow of smoke from an Alpha Strike. I decided to look for the source. My eyes widened as a mighty Mauler strode in on the other side of the river.
"This party's just started."

I had entered the battlefield quietly enough, keeping radar on passive and following the gunfire. The Daishi turned to face me and point its reloading guns at me eagerly.
"Too late" I said as a pair of LBX-10 cluster rounds and two hails of MRM-10s roared out in an Alpha Strike. They found thier mark in the now crumpled nose of the warped clan mech, bringing with them a field of blue light. The reactor core had gone critical.

"Miyamoto! Good of you to join us! This is simple, just sit in Nav Alpha, or the hill, for ONE minute alone, and you win. You will respawn, and it is free..."
I was cut off by a Guass Round to the back. I turned to see Josef in the hill, and to see Alex just cross the bridge, interfering with his time gain.
Maxwell and Miyamoto began a brawl, and O' Connel was nowhere in sight.
I crossed the bridge, and the Three way between me, Alex and Josef began.

"All MechWarriors- Brefing for Operation IV: Bloodhound will begin in 10 minutes. Please report to the Mess Hall if you will be participating in this Operation. Thank you."
"Son-of-a... dammit guys, I wish we might have finished this one. Oh well, good match."
We were returned to the room with the holo-computer, and 6 pilots began to shuffle their way out of the thin door. I held it open for the other 5.
"Good match, everyone."
"You, too, Wedge." , Said about 3 or 4 voices. I headed out for the mess hall.
