I know some people are curious to see this so I decided to post it. It's also good to know for those cases when you see a briefing that states what were facing. (Ex: We expect to see a Company of Mechs (Now you know you should expect 12 mechs))
Inner Sphere Platoon: Approx. 28 infantry Lance: 4 - 5 'Mechs Company: 3 Lances or 3 Platoons Battalion: 3 Companies Regiment: 2-4 Battalions
Clan Point: 1 'Mech or 5 armored infantry Star: 5 'Mechs or 25 armored infantry Binary: 2 Stars Trinary: 3 Stars Cluster: 4-5 Binaries/Trinaries Galaxy: 3-5 Clusters Nova: 1 'Mech Star and 1 armored infantry Star Supernova: 1 'Mech Binary and 2 armored infantry Stars

Clan organization considers one Point as follows:
1 Point = 1 Mech 1 Point = 1 Aerospace Fighter 1 Point = 2 Vehicles 1 Point = 5 Battlearmored Infantry 1 Point = 25 Unarmored Infantry
You can intermix units as needed within a Star.
One Star = 5 Points One Binary = 10 Points One Trinary = 15 Points
And so on.
Also, one system of organization not listed here is that of ComStar. ComStar uses a base six organizational scheme:
Level I = 1 Base Unit Level II = 6 Base Units Level III = 36 Base Units Level IV = 216 Base Units Level V = 864-1296 Base Units (The largest unit of ComGuard organization, a Level V is a ComGuard Army)
1 Base Unit = 1 Mech 1 Base Unit = 1 Aerospace Fighter 1 Base Unit = 1 Vehicle 1 Base Unit = 4 Battlearmored Infantry 1 Base Unit = 28 Unarmored Infantry
